Presentation

Good morning everyone,

Still working on our presentation skills. Here are two presentations and your task is to compare between these two presentations.

Task one:

Compare between link one and link two. Find the similarities and differences between them.

similarities:
1)purpose and structure is clear
2)ending with conclusion

differences:

Link one
Link two
brief outline
·

clearly and slowly
·

humor, active and vivid

·
interactive with audience

·
beginning with self-introduction
·

Task two:

List five things that you have learned from each one. Then, check your findings with your peers.
Link one
Link two
Writing points
Vivid
Speaking clearly and slowly
Interactive
Good structure with contrast
Tell story
Self- introduction
Clear purpose and conclusion
Brief sentences
body movement

Task three:

Which presentation you have find it better/more effective/more engaging? and why?

In my opinion, both of them are good.
If your audience are beginner in some areas, you can choose the link one to make your presentation clearly and briefly.
And, if you need to introduce some specific knowledge to people, you can also choose the link one. It is easy to understand and remember.

By contrast, If you speak some opening topics (not specific fields) , you can make a vivid presentation as the link two did .
You can attract your audience to pay attention to your speech.
