Logistics Manager

* Previous experience in shipping administration is an asset	·  5+ years experience in a similar role
*Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills	· Automotive industry preferred or manufacturing experience
*Strong attention to detail	·  Experience with Master Planning - overseeing production scheduling, materials, inventory, fill rates
*Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a true team environment	·  Experience working with 5 - 10 direct reports,
*Excellent command of the English language	·  Experience with an MRP system - and monthly reporting of key metrics
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Strong customer service skills

2. duties and responsibilities

- Work closely with the shipping to team to meet and or exceed - Track and monitor all deliveries	·         Approximately 10 direct reports
- Work with outside vendors to obtain competitive quotes for any long haul freight and or courier shipments	·         Master Planning for Production
- Work with in house warehouse staff to coordinate loading of products	·         Monitor and update, reorder point levels and production material requirements in SAP
- Handle and customer inquiries related to shipping	·         Will be dealing with customers re: production schedules
- Track fleet maintenance records and ensure any needed maintenance is completed in a safe and timely manner	·         Oversee Production schedulers
- Handle any assigned administrative duties	·         Oversee Customer care reps
	·         Assist in development of continuous improvement
