NOC

Locate the NOC website (www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC). On the home page, click on Occupational Structure (on the left-hand side of the page).
Task 1:
List the 10 sectors that the first digit of the NOC code refers to. In small groups, brainstorm three occupations for each sector.
Task 2:
Think of an occupation you would like to enter in Canada (either as a survival job, or in the
occupation you are trained for). Which of the above sectors is this occupation in?

When I was a child, I had a dream to become a tour guide, because I thought this job is very exciting and interesting,  I could also go to everywhere without spending any fee, I thought working is flaying, playing is working. Today I researched some information about this kind of job in Canada.
I found its four-digit number is 6531.
The main duty is as below.
1) transport individuals or groups on tours of cities, waterways and industrial and other establishments
2) Describe points of interest, answer questions and supply information
3) Provide historical and cultural facts related to the site
4) May collect admission fees and sell souvenirs.
Employment requirements is as below
1) On-the-job training is provided.
2) Knowledge of both official languages or an additional language may be required for some positions in this group.
